Here are some tips to keep in mind about the process for sourcing new merchandise.
Be prepared to share
- Target budget and quantity?
- What type of product? (tech items, drinkware, polos, etc.)
- Do you have an event date requiring a firm in hands delivery date?
- Where is the product shipping?
Artwork
- All uses of the Bechtel logo must meet BVI Guidelines (visit Brandspace on myBechtel for details).
- Some requests require additional approval/time.
Sample requests
- Virtual sample with art, allow 2-3 business days.
- Sample product shipped without Bechtel logo, allow 7-10 business days.
- Product Spec sample with Bechtel logo, allow 12 - 18 business days.
Production Time
- Production time varies based on product selection.
- Average virtual proof requires 2 – 3 business days and will be sent via email for approval.
- After proof approval, production takes 3 – 15 business days. Then has to be shipped.
Shipping/Transit Time
- Transit times vary with our production network across the US.
- Best practice – allow 5 business days for delivery using a ground transit method.
- Expedited methods are available upon request with additional cost.
Kitting
- We offer kitting services if you would like to create a fun, engaging box of swag!
- Kitting service adds about 7 - 12 business days to the production time.
- Note: This is a variable range and an important element to discuss up front to allow us to find products and kitting that best meet your timeline needs.
International shipping from US
- Although shipping from US to international destinations is possible, we need to thoroughly review the project request with you to see if it is best for us to help you within the US team or our Global team. We want to partner with you and make it a successful experience for you.
